Junior Program Information

Program
Description
Quickstart l Instruction to tennis strokes: forehand, backhand and volley. Focus on developing hand-eye coordination.
Quickstart ll Consistently hits forehand/backhand over the net from the service line. Introduction to serve.
Beginners Emphasizes basics of tennis: forehand, backhand, volley and serve in a fun format!
Adv. Beginner Juniors that are hitting with more pace and consistency. Continued emphasis on fundamentals of all shots.
Intermediate Must be able to serve...they are playing the game! Working on court positioning, building consistency and technique.
Advanced These juniors are beginning to compete. They should be able to serve, rally and understand strategy of the game.
Tournament Group II Juniors who have competed at the JV level and middle school players progressing through the levels.
Tournament Group I Top JV and varsity level juniors who have committed to tennis as a competitive sport.
Challenger Tournament Group I level players in high school that are committed to high school tennis.
Excellence Top varsity players. Each group emphasizes fast paced drills for the 1st hour and supervised play situations the 2nd hour. Practice and tournament play outside of the group is necessary to play at this level.
